Caroluspoort Private Game Reserve is situated just  35 km east of Prince Albert.  Turn into Pastorie Street and follow the gravel road for 35 km - Caroluspoort is situated on your left.  The reserve comprises 11 000 hectares of Karoo plains, valleys and acacia lined riverbeds.  It is home to a wide variety of antelope including Gemsbok, Eland, Zebra, Black Wildebees, Red Hartebees, Springbok and Klipspringer; other smaller mammals; reptiles and birds.  

Ideal for small groups or families, the reserve offers serviced, self-catering accommodation for 14 people in 3 cottages with 5 bedrooms, 4 of which have en-suite bathrooms.

Bergwater Farm Guesthouse is situated on the edge of the vineyards in the Prince Albert Valley, 20 km outside Prince Albert on the road towards Meiringspoort. The Guesthouse can also be reached via light aircraft, since there is a landing strip about 200m from the guesthouse.  

Fully equipped for self-catering – no breakfasts or dinner. The house sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms (2 double beds; 2 single beds) and 2 bathrooms, lounge fireplace, big stoep with sheltered braai area

Our farm lies 38 km outside Prince Albert on the R407 in the direction of Oudtshoorn.(we are exactly half way between Prince Albert and De Rust) 

The double storey house has two bedrooms (double upstairs and twin beds downstairs) There is one bathroom downstairs with a shower. The fully equipped kitchen has a stove, fridge and micro-wave oven, ideal for self-catering. There is a braai area outside.  

We supply bedding, towels and complementary tea and coffee.

The farm lies between Laingsburg and Prince Albert off the N1. Two thatched self-catering chalets built against a hillside overlook the Great Karoo. Each chalet accommodates just 2 guests. You'll find all you need for self-catering plus a fireplace for romantic winter evenings and a swimming pool to ease the summer heat of the Karoo. Swartberg Country Manor is nestled on the farm "Voorbedacht" situated in the Cango Valley at the foot of the Swartberg Pass. The main farmhouse was converted into a comfortable guesthouse that offers 9 en-suite guest rooms, we have also renovated the original farmhouse (dated 1864) to offer a further 5 en-suite guest rooms.

Meals are served in our spacious dining room or on the "stoep" (veranda) overlooking the spectacular Swartberg Mountains . Patat Restaurant; although a season fresh ala carte menu is always available, Sunday Buffets is a Must!  Limited reservations ensure that the atmosphere remains “homely” and the hand selected wines compliments every special occasion.  Each buffet has an enchanting element of patat (sweet potato), whilst the daily Chef’s Specials are not to be missed.
